Our Leader

Ontario L. Jones Sr. , a native of Fort Worth, Texas answered his call to ministry in 2000 at the age of 22 while a student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He served faithfully at Mount Gilead Baptist Church under the leadership of Overseer J. Jerome Johnson Sr. until 2005. 

 

Bishop Ontario L. Jones accepted the Pastoral Position at The Church at Philadelphia in 2006 where he served faithfully until 2021. Under Bishop Jones’ leadership, The Church at Philadelphia augmented in growth spiritually and numerically. The ministry saw approximately 300+ disciples consistently. This ministry experienced many wins within the community and surrounding areas. 

 

Bishop Ontario L. Jones was found doing the work of the Lord and promotion was in the atmosphere. Dr. Johnasen L. Pack, the Presiding Prelate of The Jordan Partnership met with Bishop Jones and shared what God was saying. Confirmed in dreams, Ontario L. Jones Sr.  accepted the promotion and was consecrated as a Bishop in the Lord's church on June 4th 2016 and now currently serves as 2nd Presiding Bishop of The Jordan Partnership.

 

Upon the conclusion of 15 years of successful leadership of a congregation, God allowed a new path of leadership to emerge for Bishop Jones. On August 8th, 2021 the Lord allowed him to birth Fresh Oil International Church. 

 

He developed a motto that simply states, “Where The Anointing Makes The Difference”. This ministry currently sees approximately 200+ members and is one of the thriving churches in the city. 

 

His community involvement continues to be a key component of the church’s success and mission. He is the CEO of FOIC Outreach Ministries Incorporated. His love for education has lead him to become a mentor in the lives of our young people. 

 

Bishop Jones has three amazing children: Nakia Jones, Tamia Larkin, and Ontario Jones II. He also has two grandsons. 

 

He has received many accolades throughout his calling and career, but what stands out the most is his posture in remaining teachable.
